Handmade ceramic Kaleidoscope bead...large & different designs painted all around using detail brushes...steady hand...magnifier (a must!!)lol and underglazes with clear glaze. I love design & color and I find myself lost to the bead when the brushes & glazes are in my hands...and the bead design takes on a life of it's own! I have this bead pictured larger to show detail. I am new at this show and tell blogging but I see I am not alone and very happy to share as you other beadmakers are too!! I am sooo happy to have found clay to create with ....the whole process is a joy! Calling it a night...our beagle Gracie needs her night walk.

That is a beautiful bead! I can't wait to see more!

I am always inspired by those who do really detailed painting type work with their beads. I am more of a form person and don't seem to have a steady hand for a paintbrush, so I admire painted beads so much!

Thanks for sharing your blog and your work!

Thank you for your thoughtful comments Melanie, and yes, I do enjoy getting detailed in my painting on some beads...the bead just takes on a life of its own, and its a thrill to see how it becomes! Yes, there will be more!!
It's great sharing!

Wow! Cool Bead Christine! Nice to see your blog is up and rolling. I can't wait to see more beads and pendants. So very colorful. So I have to use my fave saying, "Life is way too short not to use every color available!" Or "the brighter the better!"
Thanks for sharing!
